At my niece's request I painted an ocean scene today. Being one of the hottest days of the year here in New England, it was pleasant painting the cool blue of the sea. The beach and lagoon are inviting, but you need to walk down the cliff to get there. (I painted this one from my photograph in an air-conditioned room.)
